The atmosphere at Parkland High School was electric this past Friday, May 1st, as students, families, and faculty gathered for our annual Rock The Future fireworks extravaganza. While the pyrotechnics were stunning, the true highlight of the night took place on the big screen: the premiere of the Official Class of 2026 Senior Video.
Capturing the Journey
The video, a labor of love produced by our talented student media team, served as a moving tribute to four years of hard work, friendships, and Matador pride. From the first days of freshman year to the final moments in the hallways, the montage captured the essence of what it means to be a Parkland student.
"Watching those memories flash across the screen while surrounded by my classmates was surreal," said one graduating senior. "It really hit home that we’re at the finish line."

Beyond the video debut, Rock The Future 2026 was a massive success, featuring:
Live Performances: Local student bands and the PHS Jazz Ensemble kept the energy high.
Food Truck Row: A record-breaking turnout of local vendors.
The Grand Finale: A 15-minute choreographed fireworks display that lit up the night sky in red and gray.
